A nose of quince and stonefruit, white beach and green nectarine, stuck match and lime citrus. The palate has great tension, flinty minerality and beautiful acidity, reminiscent of somewhere in the old world that we are not allowed to mention. So taste for yourselves & guess...
We have been working with Angela Vaughan and her beautiful Henty vineyards for over a decade. In this time we have identified a small parcel of Pinot Gris, uniquie in terroir, whose quality and characteristics are wholly deserving of a single vineyard wine.
At Lethbridge the idea of simple is an anathema. We use old school techniques including wild yeast, lees contact and maturation in large old casks. Sophisticated and minerally, our Sauvignon Blanc is made to confound and intrigue.
Enjoy the bouquet of dry hay, green apple, grapefruit pith, lemon and lanolin while the palate has medium weight with beautiful length and persistent acidity
The way we make amphora White. 48% Vermentino, 40% Fiano, 12% Riesling. Crisp lemon and pear skins on the nose, quince, chamomile and lemon oil on the palate with gripping acidity and freshness.
A vibrant wine where a riot of orchard aromatics are the prelude for a floral palate of white nectarine, overlaying a delicate creaminess. Beautiful drinking.
Fiano is a variety originally from the Southern Italian region of Campania, and is perfectly suited to our changing climate. From a low yielding, cool year like 2023, Fiano creates a wine with personality. It interlaces complex aroma and honeyed golden flavours within a voluptuous but racy palate.
Made in a complex Alsatian style, small batches are wild fermented in new French oak. Some portions have a touch of skin contact. Aged on fine lees in foudre before being bottled young and fresh.
At Lethbridge we have been working with this Noble variety for nearly two decades and in this time experimented with many styles, from dry to sweek, sparkling to amber. This Riesling follows one of our well travelled roads.
