96 points - Halliday Wine Companion! We have been working with Angela Vaughan and her beautiful Henty vineyards for over a decade. In this time we have identified a small parcel of Pinot Gris, uniquie in terroir, whose quality and characteristics are wholly deserving of a single vineyard wine.
Made in a complex Alsatian style, small batches are wild fermented in new French oak. Some portions have a touch of skin contact. Aged on fine lees in foudre before being bottled young and fresh.
This wine is almost gone.. get in quick! Reminiscent of walking in an alpine meadow on a crisp spring day; alpine flowers, mint, wild herbs with racey acidity.
