18+ years in the making, Nadeson Collis are the brain child of husband and wife winemakers Ray Nadeson & Maree Collis. This is the latest 2023 disgorgement of their small batch, Traditional Method, Grower Sparkling Wine!
At Lethbridge we have been working with this Noble variety for nearly two decades and in this time experimented with many styles, from dry to sweek, sparkling to amber. This Riesling follows one of our well travelled roads.
Made in a complex Alsatian style, small batches are wild fermented in new French oak. Some portions have a touch of skin contact. Aged on fine lees in foudre before being bottled young and fresh.
We have been working with Angela Vaughan and her beautiful Henty vineyards for over a decade. In this time we have identified a small parcel of Pinot Gris, uniquie in terroir, whose quality and characteristics are wholly deserving of a single vineyard wine.
Fiano is a variety originally from the Southern Italian region of Campania, and is perfectly suited to our changing climate. From a low yielding, cool year like 2023, Fiano creates a wine with personality. It interlaces complex aroma and honeyed golden flavours within a voluptuous but racy palate.
Enjoy the bouquet of dry hay, green apple, grapefruit pith, lemon and lanolin while the palate has medium weight with beautiful length and persistent acidity
A nose of quince and stonefruit, white beach and green nectarine, stuck match and lime citrus. The palate has great tension, flinty minerality and beautiful acidity, reminiscent of somewhere in the old world that we are not allowed to mention. So taste for yourselves & guess...
100% Nebbiolo from the Pyrenees, made in an Italian style. Sophisticated, full-flavoured and complex, with lifted aromatics and finishing bone dry. In our opinion, the best Rosé Ray has ever made!
What does one buy for a husband of almost twenty years who buys for himself whatever he wants! A great Nebbiolo rivals Pinot Noir in its elusiveness and Ray loves nothing more than a challenge...
In 2022, while visiting friend Phillipe Viet in Beaujolais, Ray was offered a special parcel of fruit from biodynamically grown 100 year old Cru Régnié vines. This is the result.
