"The vineyard at Mt Duneed was planted in '69. Hand-picked, wild-fermented with 50% whole bunches, matured for 11 months in French oak (50% new), 109 dozen made. Generous, but not excessive - a full and round compote of black fruit and fine-grained tannins."

Our 2018 Lethbridge Rebenberg Shiraz is a true reflection of the vineyard and demonstrates the intensity of flavour you can expect from a great vineyard. A cool climate site, typically producing cool climate elegant Shiraz, in recent years the intensity and power of this wine has benefitted from climate change. The wine is rich with spice and forest floor aromas, beautifully balanced with dense flavours and incredible texture. The wine will delight for many years. Unfortunately, only one more vintage of this wine will ever be made as the continuous march of housing will engulf this wonderful site in 2020.
